Life Updates & Resolution Progress
Hey everypony! It's been 6 months since my last blog post and a lot has happened...
Back in March my SSD ended up dying DX but thanks to some incredible donations I was able to collect enough funds to hire a repair service and have gotten all my data back!
I'm still working on unpacking and organizing everything from the loaner SSD, which is why I had to abandon the website for so long, but, I'm eager to get back to coding!
Resolutions
If you recall from my previous post part of my resolution was to finish 1 illustration a month, do 1 study session a week and do 1 daily sketch...
As of writing this blog entry I am officially on day 216 of daily drawings. It has been SO HARD and I've wanted to give up so many times, but I haven't!! Unfortunately losing my SSD for half the year impacted my determination to complete an illustration or even do studies, but, I'm still super proud of myself and I feel that the daily sketch has really helped me overcome perfectionism and become much faster at drawing!
Art Fight
I feel my performance during artfight this year made up for the few months I went without completing a full illustration!!
I was on team tradegy this year, my battle ratio was 61.29% with 594 points, 19 art pieces total; 8 attacks and 11 revenges! If I get around to it I'll make a round up post talking a little more about this art fight because I think this is the most I have ever done??
Every year I say "Oh I'm not gonna do art fight" and then I turn around and make some of my favorite pieces ever xP
Going Forward
I want to get back into a good flow of my website, I still have incomplete pages, and a few need to be updating, I noticed my piclog is broken as well as my menu bar for my blog??
I also created another website that I would love to have collabarators on! It's a mikumikudance archive blog, since deviantart is rolling out more and more restrictions it made me really worried about MMD!! So I'm attempting to build a spriritual successor to the MMD mall lol
Again, I'll probably make this it's own post in the future when I'm more able to commit to that kind of project.
Oh! Also! I'm working on making an begginers guide and workshop to html coding!! so stay tuned for that!! I'm so excited to share this hobby with more people!!
Sorry this update was so short after it's been so long, but, if I didn't cut myself off I would be telling you about the last 6 months of my life in detail LOL thank you for checking out my blog and I hope to start being a better webmaster by keeing my page more updated hehe
